Famagusta

Famagusta (from the Latin name of the city: Famagusta) is a Cypriot city, belonging to the northern part of the island of Cyprus. Its area does not exceed 200 square kilometers, and its population is 37,738, including Turkish Muslim inhabitants. It is bordered to the north and east by the rest of Northern Cyprus, to the west by a United Nations buffer zone, and to the south by the Mediterranean Sea.
